About Us

The founder and inspiration for the company, Lou Sr. has given 60 years of his life to the construction business in one way or another. After WWII, Lou moved into the role of Building Inspector for the City of Boston for more than 25 years. From that vantage point Lou has seen all the advancements in both residential and commercial construction. Today Lou is retired but still keeps an eye on his boys and beams with pride seeing Apex grow into the respected team it is today.

John has been working in the field for 26 years, on anything from planning and problem solving to framing and finishing. OSHA trained he has learned all phases of not only carpentry but everything involved in the construction of a home. John graduated from Bentley University with a BS in Management. When he is not working for Apex, he enjoys golfing, riding his bike, skiing, raquetball and even working on his own home.

Louie has 40 years of construction experience and is a licensed electrician in addition to being OSHA trained. Louie has been working with Apex for the past 17 years with specialties including remodeling, renovation, and problem solving, focusing on his motto of, “We will make it happen!” When not working for Apex, he can often be found working on his own home in Marblehead or following his passion in the kitchen by cooking with his wife, Josephine.

Thiago is a skilled finish carpenter and cabinet maker. He has been working in this field for the past 11 years and has been with Apex the shortest period of time but has shown he has what we are looking for in our employees.

Thiago is married with a young daughter and is a member of the Good Shepard Protestant Church. During his free time he enjoys fishing, playing soccer and guitar.
